About the Universities Waterloo 

The University of Waterloo is a public research university with the main campus in Waterloo, Ontario. The school was founded in 1957 and is known for its cooperative education programs. The university has six faculties and ten faculty-based schools. It also operates four affiliated university colleges. University of Waterloo Graduate Scholarship Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs awards graduate scholarships up to $30,000 per year.
An individual can apply only once per year; eligibility requirements include having been accepted into an eligible graduate program at the University of Waterloo or one of its affiliated university colleges, be enrolled full-time in an eligible graduate program at the University of Waterloo or one of its affiliated university colleges, and submitting a thesis proposal that meets certain criteria.

About the Master's scholarships Award

The University of Waterloo Graduate Scholarship, normally valued at $1,000 per term for up to three terms, is awarded to graduate students registered full-time in a Master's or Doctoral program at the University of Waterloo. Eligible students must have a minimum first-class (80%) cumulative average in their current program or over the last two full-time academic years and be within the time limits of their graduate program. No application is required, graduate departments will nominate eligible students automatically based on their allocation of funds.
